People Make the Difference

Our Employees

Marquette recognizes that our greatest assets are the employees -- and our people do make the difference. All of our employees know what it takes to make customers happy: efficient production, quality parts and on-time delivery.  Cross-training and certification of all employees includes emphasis on proper use of gages and measuring instruments, as well as SPC data acquisition and charting.

Let our skilled team of dedicated employees create something for you.

Generations of Dedication

Since 1939, the Marquette “family” has prided itself on a tradition of customer satisfaction thanks to the quality production of our hard-working employees.

Tammy & Chris Miller demonstrate a story of family tradition within our company.  Tammy wears many hats at Marquette, but she primarily manages all of our accounting needs.  Chris, her son, joined her in 2012 and is currently part of the Set Up department.

Darren Valandra Sr. and Darren Valandra Jr. are another example of multi-generational commitment and loyalty at Marquette.  Darren Sr. is responsible for our shipping and receiving department.  Darren Jr. joined his father in 2010 and is currently in Set Up.

2016 Employee News

We depend on employees like Mark Jernigan.  He, too, followed in his father’s footsteps who also worked at Marquette.  After 30 years with the company, Mark retired from Set Up in July.  His strong work ethic and positive attitude will be greatly missed.

Chris Miller has been an employee of Marquette for 4 years.  He was promoted to Set Up in June.

Durrell Hunt has been at Marquette for 4 years as well.  In July, he was promoted to Set Up Class 1.

Travis Bench was hired as our new Purchasing/Materials Manager in February.

In July, Chris Christophel joined the company as an Inspector/Assembler.
